Derrick grew up in Washington, D.C and lived there for about 10 years, lived in Maryland for 12 years and has lived in Gainesville, VA for the last 5 years. A few words to describe him are funny, goofy, honest and energetic.
Some of Derrick's main interests are working on his personal vehicles and sports. He likes just about all mainstream sports but his true passion is soccer. Derrick played soccer for 17 years in youth travel leagues, high school and recreationally in college and on the weekends.
Derrick's free time is spent working on his cars, going to different car shows and meeting events and spending quality time with his family. Derrick and his wife who were just recently married this past fall go on vacation with their families in Myrtle Beach, SC every year to get away from it all and true relaxation.
Growing up Derrick was able to see two different sides of education. For majority of his childhood he attended public schools but his last two years of high school were spent in Catholic school in Laurel, MD. Derrick attended college for a couple of years at Radford University until he found his passion for car sales his second summer home which was 6 years ago.
A couple notable things about Derrick are he was a constant Honor Roll student, received the President's Education Award, a couple of essay writing awards, team MVP for 2 years in high school, a couple of 1st place car show awards and salesman of the month honors on more than one occasion.
